Untamed Humans

Branding | Packaging | Photo Art Direction

A branding project for a personalized skin care company.

Untamed Humans isn’t just another skincare brand—it’s a celebration of individuality. They believe that everyone’s skin is different, and their personalized approach makes sure people get exactly what their skin needs—nothing more, nothing irritating. Through a simple quiz, customers discover the ingredients their skin actually craves, and everything is tailored just for them.

The client wanted a high-contrast typeface for the logo to symbolize the unique differences between people. To bring that to life, I paired a bold serif for “Untamed” with a custom, handwritten-style font for “humans,” creating a design that felt personal, and expressive.

I also designed an ambigram as the logo mark—a bespoke symbol that reads the same upside down—to reflect the idea that no matter what life throws at you, you’re still your unapologetic, true self. The brand’s signature orange, called “Rebel Orange,” symbolizes that same spirit: bold, energetic, and unafraid to break the mold.

Beyond branding, I art directed and sometimes even photographed product and lifestyle shoots (I even styled the models' hairstyle and clothes myself), creating images for new launches, seasonal promos, and social media. I’m also in charge of the website visuals and regularly create new content to keep things fresh.

I wrote the word "humans" hundred times to get to the perfect combination that goes well with UNTAMED

I decided to go with a more free-hand style to match with the brand voice, and to enhance the individualizing aspect of the products

The order card was personalized with the customer's name, Zodiac sign, and the ingredients in their products that were customized just for them
